INSIDE SCOOP: We’re feeling the Bern
Friends,
These are heady days at the Working Families Party.
In case you missed it, let me catch you up on the big news: the Working Families Party has announced our endorsement of Bernie Sanders for President.
This was our first-ever national endorsement. It was also the first time we handed over substantial power in a decision and let our members have a say. And have a say they did: tens of thousands of WFP members across the country voted, with a resounding 87% backing Bernie Sanders.
Each dot represents a zip code where at least one WFP member voted.
If you’re excited to hear about this: stop what you’re doing right now and make a contribution in support of the decision.
If you’re still excited: click here to head to our Facebook page and share articles and images to help spread the good news.
If you’re STILL excited: email us here and tell us how you’d like to get involved to help build the political revolution and elect Bernie Sanders.
With that, let me leave you with a few of our favorite press clips:
- New York Times: Working Families Party Endorses Bernie Sanders for President
- Mic: Bernie Sanders Just Received One of His Biggest Endorsements Yet (also cross-posted at Yahoo)
- The Nation: The Working Families Party Endorses Sanders for the Democratic Nomination
Thanks for being a part of the WFP family.
Read the papers, pay your dues and organize,
