The Working Families Party has a strong record of delivering on the issues that matter to women and families. That’s why women from diverse backgrounds from across New York are coming together to pledge to vote the full WFP line on November 4th.
Watch and share this video featuring some inspiring New York women including Working Families Co-Chair Karen Scharff, domestic workers’ advocate Ai-jen Poo, Congresswoman Nydia Velazquez, NYC Public Advocate Letitia James, and Manhattan Borough President Gale Brewer. You’ll hear some of the many reasons why women are voting WFP on November 4th:
New York women are voting WFP this year for paid sick days and for equal pay. We’re voting WFP for a higher minimum wage. We’re voting WFP for fair elections that will elect more women to our state legislature. We’re voting WFP to end racially biased marijuana arrests that tear our families apart. We’re voting WFP to send a message that women’s equality means all of this and more.
A strong WFP is essential to making all of this real. That’s the message we’ll be sending with our votes for Gov. Cuomo and the entire WFP line on November 4th.
