Wading in the water to call for doubling state’s renewable energy portfolio

Maryland Working Families, along with our partners in the Chesapeake Climate Action Network, waded into Baltimore’s Inner Harbor to publicize our campaign to double the state’s clean electricity standard to 40% by 2025.

Charly Carter, our fearless executive director, donned waders to go into the notoriously unclean water to speak out on the need for clean energy and how working families are disproportionately affected by climate change.

Great coverage in Baltimore Sun, WJZ.
