Maryland Working Families has held two New Leaders Boot Camps to bring newly elected Maryland General Assembly leaders together with progressive advocates. To date, topics have included the state’s budget, establishing paid sick days, addressing criminal justice issues, creating tougher environmental standards and improving working standards. As Maryland’s legislative session begins, we are planning more sessions to bring legislators together to work on progressive issues.
