In June, New Yorkers have the chance to engage the Wage Board face-to-face on the need for a $15 minimum wage for fast food workers.
The movement started by fast food workers in New York in 2012 has since picked up big victories in Seattle, San Francisco, and Los Angeles. Now, we have a golden opportunity to make a $15/hr wage a reality for all New York fast food workers.
The Wage Board has the power to bypass Republicans in the State Senate and raise the minimum wage for fast food workers, directly. But they need to hear from you.
