WFP, NYSUT, and Zephyr Teachout Team Up To Encourage Educators To Run

All too often, the debate on education policy in Albany is dominated by those with no experience as educators. We need the voices of those who understand firsthand the difficulties facing our schools and universities to be heard in the halls of government.

That’s why the NY Working Families Party is excited to join with NYSUT and Zephyr Teachout for a series of events in June on why educators should run for office. We’re going to help teachers across the state learn more about what it takes to run for office – and win.
