Over Labor Day weekend, New Mexico WFP State Director Eric Griego caught up with the Santa Fe New Mexican to talk strategy.
Griego, 50, says New Mexico has regressed as politicians catered to corporations while workers got less and less of the pie. Just as bad, he says, the existing system of politicians who are labeled merely as Democrats and Republicans doesn’t give voters enough options. “It’s not produced any game-changing leadership,” Griego said.
