West Virginia Teachers Defeat Republican School Privatization Bill

Almost a year after West Virginia teachers went on strike and launched a nationwide movement, the Republican state legislature tried to pass a bill that would use public funds for private schools. So West Virginia teachers went back on strike — and defeated the bill!

You can chip in here to help support some of the courageous West Virginia school bus drivers and school personnel who held the line this week and went without pay.
