Wrapping up 2019 in Oregon

We had a great time at our Political Homecoming at Revolution Hall’s Venue 101! Kenney Polson, one of our endorsed school board candidates who was re-elected, entertained us with some smooth jazz while we enjoyed a delicious spread from Dub’s St John’s

We crowned our homecoming court of elected school board members & were thrilled to have National Director Maurice Mitchell join us in person, as well as recently elected WFP City Councilor Kendra Brooks, (Philadelphia, PA), as our (virtual) keynote speaker.

On the heels of a 75% win rate for our endorsed candidates in the May 2019 Special Election, we’re certain we can make 2020 a winning year for progressive candidates and policies. We can’t do it without you, though. Any amount, big or small, makes a big difference for our grassroots movement. And the first $50 is free! Donate before 2019 is over to get your Oregon tax credit.

Stay tuned for our 2020 endorsement questionnaire, which will be going out to Oregon Working Families Party members soon.
