NYWFP Announces Endorsement of Incumbent NYC Council Members, DAs, and Borough Presidents
NEW YORK CITY, NY — Today, the New York Working Families Party (NYWFP) announced its endorsement of a slate of District Attorney, Borough President and New York City Council candidates who are seeking re-election.
Candidates who apply for the Working Families Party endorsement complete a robust questionnaire and interview process. At a time when local elected officials are on the frontline of protecting our communities and democracy, NYWFP is investing in races up and down the ballot to ensure New Yorkers have trusted leaders who fight for working families.
“The New York Working Families Party is proud to endorse this slate of candidates who are proven champions for working families. At a moment in time when New Yorkers are looking to local leadership to stand up to attacks from the federal government, New York City will remain in good hands with the leaders we are endorsing today,” said Ana María Archila and Jasmine Gripper, Co-Directors, New York Working Families Party. “Throughout their time serving in office, these leaders have leveraged their power to improve the lives of everyday New Yorkers. They have shown an unwavering commitment to our communities, standing up to a scandal-ridden Mayor who abandoned the city in the face of Trump’s worst attacks. We are excited to support their campaigns, engage voters across their districts and help re-elect these dedicated leaders.”
