TELL YOUR SENATORS: Vote NO on Russ Vought for OMB
We have an opportunity to stop the man behind Project 2025 and Trump’s federal spending freeze — but we need your help today.
Russ Vought, an author of Project 2025, is an extremist Christian nationalist in the pocket of billionaires, has been nominated by Trump to lead the federal Office of Management and Budget.
The vote to confirm him is scheduled for this week, so we need to send a loud and clear message to our Senators right away that a vote for Russ Vought would be a vote against their constituents.
The most effective way to reach your Senators right now is to call their office — so we’ve set up an easy tool to help you do that!
Text OMB to 30403 to be connected to your Senators’ office and receive some tips on how to tell them to vote NO on Russ Vought.

Russ Vought as OMB Director would be a disaster — for the people who rely on crucial government programs, as well as for our democracy itself.
Just last week, with no official power, Vought led the effort to freeze federal spending, throwing programs from Medicaid to free school lunches to support for homeless veterans into chaos. With the power of the OMB, he would enact even more of the anti-worker, anti-family policies in his Project 2025 plan.
He also has a dangerous disregard for the separation of powers that keeps our government in check. Vought has made it clear that he feels the OMB can “turn on and off any spending” by the federal government, ignoring the legal requirement to dispense the funds that Congress has appropriated. In 2024, he even published an article stating, “We are living in a post-Constitutional time.”
We need to stop Vought’s nomination to lead such an important federal office. Can we count on you to help today?
