Caroline Menjivar is our champion candidate running to represent the San Fernando Valley in the State Senate. Caroline knows what it is like for working families struggling to get by. She worked through high school to help pay the bills, served in the military as a Marine after school, and came back to go to college and graduate school to become a social worker.

Menjivar has worked in city government and has a vision for helping the community fight homelessness, provide more affordable housing, prepare for natural disasters and fight back against big corporations polluting and disregarding our laws. Menjivar will represent us – the people – in Sacramento, fighting for Immigrant justice, better education and jobs, and using her expertise as a mental health professional to encourage supportive community services that can make our district healthier and safer.
