Elect Paloma Aguirre

Paloma has been working on the IB City Council and on the California Coastal Commission to make our beaches sewage-free, improve our community by increasing renters’ rights, push for more green spaces and improve community safety.

“Paloma Aguirre is a first-generation Mexican American whose passion for surfing brought her to Imperial Beach in 2003. Her career in conservation started after learning she was swimming in polluted waters. She made history by becoming the city’s first elected Latina council member and serves on various boards, including the San Diego Association of Governments and the California Coastal Commission.”— San Diego Union-Tribune

The Republican in the race accepted $10,000 from absentee slumlords of the local mobile home parks, who want to jack up rates and avoid doing repairs and upkeep. We don’t need a conservative Republican running Imperial Beach. We need Paloma.
