Connecticut Working Families Party Endorses 84 candidates ahead of the November election
Hartford, Conn. – Connecticut Working Families Party (WFP) is proud to announce the endorsement of 84 candidates for the upcoming 2024 elections. These endorsements span across federal, state senate, and state house districts, reflecting WFP’s commitment to advocating for policies that promote economic opportunity, affordable housing, and a state budget that allows for necessary investments in our communities.
Sarah Ganong, State Director of the Connecticut Working Families Party, said, “Our endorsed candidates represent the values and vision that the Working Families Party fights for every day. Our candidates are committed to building a Connecticut that works for everyone, not just the wealthy and well-connected. From opposing restrictive budget measures to ensuring affordable housing and creating opportunities for all residents, WFP candidates are ready to work together on day one to build governing power for working people in our state.”
These endorsements reflect the WFP’s dedication to building a Connecticut where everyone has the freedom to thrive—where opportunity, equity, and personal freedom are prioritized. WFP candidates are committed to ensuring everyone has the right to make their own choices, whether it’s about reproductive rights, gender identity, or the path they choose in life.
