NYWFP Endorses Slate of Candidates in Ulster and Dutchess County

KINGSTON, NY — Today, New York Working Families Party announced the endorsements of 50 champions for working families who have received the endorsement of the Party. These candidates are running for local office across Ulster and Dutchess counties.

Candidates who apply for the Working Families Party endorsement complete a robust questionnaire and interview process. NYWFP is excited to support their campaigns as the Party elects candidates who fight for working families.

“The New York Working Families Party is proud to endorse this dynamic slate of candidates in Ulster and Dutchess Counties. Now more than ever, we are leaning on our local elected officials to stand up for working people. These leaders will have a tremendous impact on the lives of everyday New Yorkers. We are confident that these leaders will deliver the bold, progressive change that working families deserve.” said Ana María Archila and Jasmine Gripper, Co-Directors, New York Working Families Party.

“Our dedicated local chapter members have gone through a rigorous and multi-step process, interviewing countless candidates seeking the Party’s support,” said Jeremy Koulish, Acting Chair of the NYWFP Ulster-Dutchess Chapter. “The working families of this region are fortunate to have so many local candidates who are proud to stand strong on behalf of the interests of working people, not just the wealthy few.”
