Pennsylvania Working Families Party Endorses Over 35 Primary Election Candidates Across Commonwealth

37 candidate slate is the largest number of WFP primary endorsements in years

PENNSYLVANIA — Today, the Pennsylvania Working Families Party announced its endorsement of over thirty-five candidates across the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania in local, judicial, and municipal primary races ahead of the May 20th election.

The Party received its highest number of endorsement applications ever. The thirty-seven total endorsed candidates also represent one of the Party’s largest slates ever throughout Pennsylvania.

“At a time when Donald Trump and Elon Musk are ripping benefits from working people across the country, the Working Families Party is proud to support a powerful slate of candidates. Municipal and judicial offices are facing the brunt of Trump’s massive federal overreach, and it’s critical to have champions in those offices who are willing to stand up and fight back,” said Shoshanna Israel, the Mid-Atlantic Political Director for the Working Families Party. “Across Pennsylvania, voters want elected officials that will stand up for regular people and deliver real gains for the working class. The Working Families Party will do everything we can to elect these champions in the primary and general elections this year.”
