Today’s announcement demonstrates that Mayor Mamdani’s vision for a city we can afford will be our reality.”

“Today’s commitment to universal childcare can only be sustained with a permanent source of funding year over year.  New York’s billionaires and big corporations need to pay their fair share to ensure working families can make ends meet. Governor Hochul must raise revenue by taxing the rich to ensure we can truly deliver an affordability agenda for the working families of New York.”
