Stand Up to ICE
After treating our immigrant friends and neighbors inhumanely for years, ICE has ramped up their illegal attacks on all members of our communities — including murdering Renee Good and Alex Pretti — and they show no signs of stopping.
But in Minnesota and all across the country, our communities are standing strong in opposition to ICE’s violence and cruelty. As more and more people speak out and take action, our representatives are feeling the pressure. Sen. Chuck Schumer stated that Senate Democrats will not vote for new DHS funding, and the Trump administration says they plan to reduce the number of federal agents in Minneapolis, including Border Patrol commander Greg Bovino.
As we continue to fight for a government that will abolish ICE and end the terror for good, we need to work together and take immediate action to stop further harm and support Minnesotans who are under attack right now.
Here are a few quick actions you can take right now to help support communities under siege and stop the attacks.
- URGENT: Contact your Senators to demand that they vote NO on any DHS bill that does not work to stop ICE’s reckless attacks.
- Text “ICE OUT” to 30403 or dial 833-636-3260 to call your Senators and hear a sample script of what to say.

- Keep Minnesotans fed. As many Minnesotans, particularly immigrants, are unable or afraid to leave their homes to go to work, local food banks need more resources to keep communities fed. Donate to Second Harvest Heartland, which has helped to provide more than 145 million meals across Minnesota and western Wisconsin.
- Support organizations working on the ground to stop ICE. Pitch in to the Minnesota Immigrants Rights Action Committee (MIRAC) and the National Lawyers Guild MN. MIRAC has been organizing for years to protect and empower immigrants in the state, and the local chapter of the National Lawyers Guild provides significant legal aid to anti-ICE organizations in Minnesota.
- Add your name to our petition to Keep ICE Out of Our Communities. We’ll keep you up to date on more ways to get involved.
