Ohio Working Families Party Endorses Slate of Federal, State, and Local Candidates
OHIO — The Ohio Working Families Party today endorsed a slate of federal, state, and local general election candidates across all regions of the state, from state Auditor to Congress and the state legislature. These 19 endorsements are the Party’s largest general election slate ever in Ohio.
This is a critical year for working families’ representation in Ohio. Democrats need to flip six seats to break the GOP supermajority in the House and five in the Senate.
“Ohio Working Families Party is proud to endorse its largest slate of candidates for this year’s general election,” said Aleena Starks, Ohio State Director for the Working Families Party. “As politicians in D.C. and Columbus continue to drive prices up and dismiss the material concerns of working people, we’re supporting candidates up and down the ballot, all across Ohio, who are committed to making life easier for families across our state.”
OHWFP’s general election endorsements include:
- Annette Blackwell, Auditor
- Brian Poindexter, OH-7
- Vanessa Enoch, OH-8
