This Election Day: Vote Row C, Working Families Party

While corporations are making record profits, too many working families are barely making ends meet. Candidates on the WFP line have made a commitment not only to defeating MAGA Republicans, but also to fighting harder for working people. A vote on the WFP line shows all politicians voters are demanding an end to this rigged economy.

Moise Carelus, Candidate for State House, District 31

In Connecticut, you have more than two choices when you vote.

Our election laws allow more than one political party to endorse the same candidate, allowing us to build consensus and coalitions that will take on greedy corporations’ influence over our government. In Connecticut, candidates can appear on multiple ballot lines, and voters can choose which party line to cast their vote on. That means you can vote for a Working Families Party-endorsed candidate on Row C, and your vote still counts toward that candidate’s total to help elect them.

Voting on the Working Families Party line records your support for the candidate, and for an independent political party that is focused on the policies we expect from our government — a home you can afford, a good job that pays the bills, universal healthcare for everyone, affordable childcare, and fair taxes so the billionaires pay their share for good schools and infrastructure.

Connecticut WFP has a history of helping win policies for working people — including paid family and medical leave, a $17 minimum wage that rises with inflation, and paid sick days for workers across the state.

Now we’re working to make sure the super rich pay their fair share in taxes to support our schools and infrastructure, and to bring costs down for the rest of us.

It’s easy to find the Working Families Party line on your ballot — just look for Row C and vote there:

Nick Gauthier, State Representative, District 38
Bob Fernandez, Candidate for State House 48
