CAWFP U.S. Senate Candidates Forum

(En Español)

The California Working Families Party is excited to host a virtual U.S. Senate Forum featuring Congresswomen Barbara Lee and Katie Porter on Thursday, May 11th at 6pm PT.

The CAWFP Senate Forum will be held virtually via Zoom and broadcast to numerous watch parties across the state. Joining a WFP watch party is a great opportunity to be amongst like-minded progressives and WFP members as we hear from these candidates for the first time at a major forum.

This election is a monumental and historic one. You won’t want to miss it!

The forum will be screened at a series of watch parties across the state hosted by members, steering committee leaders, WFP elected officials, and staff.

About the California Working Families Party:

The California Working Families Party is the political party for the multiracial working class, and we know that the upcoming CA Senate Election is critical for working families across the state. An informed electorate is crucial in this race where there is an opportunity to advance the fight for progressive policy at the federal level and win the bold transformative change our communities need and deserve. The elected senator and the policies they champion will not only affect the lives of Californians, but make waves across the rest of the country.

While CA WFP has yet to determine whether to make an official endorsement in this race, the California Senate Candidate Forum will serve as an opportunity for the California Working Families Party and our members across the state to discuss the issues that matter most to us, share our collective vision for the future, and build momentum for progressive change. This event will empower our base to share their ideas and strategies, and join their regional WFP clubs to uplift the local efforts happening in their communities.
