Massachusetts
Working Families Party

About

The Massachusetts Working Families Party is regular people coming together to fight for a state that puts working people first. We’re just getting started — check back in soon for updates about what we’re building in Massachusetts.

We know the American political system is rigged to favor the two major parties. That’s why Working Families Party/Power is interrupting this system by building our own party on top of the two-party system. Since 1998, we’ve recruited and trained working class candidates for local, state, and federal races and helped build people-powered campaigns to win.

But our work doesn’t end on election day. We work with elected officials to push policies that benefit working people and disrupt pay-to-play politics. Working Families Party is creating governing majorities on the city councils, school boards, and other governments across the country, making them truly representative of the people.

Together with aligned elected leaders, partners, our members, and communities, WFP has made a real difference for working families across the US. From raising the minimum wage, to protecting union rights for workers, to creating and preserving affordable housing, WFP is the answer for working people to exercise their political power and make change for millions of people.
